Professional Missionary Training: While attending Seoul National University College of Veterinary Medicine, he learned pathology from Dr. Schofield, a Canadian veterinary pathologist and missionary, and developed a vision for missionary work. After studying abroad in the US (UGA and UPenn), he worked as a veterinary pathology researcher at the Pennsylvania State Laboratory for 33 years. He devoted himself to missionary faith training while serving as an elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and received professional missionary training from PGM and Heifer International
Missionary Dispatch
In 2007, he was officially dispatched as a missionary to Guatemala by Harrisburg Korean Presbyterian Church, PGM, Silver, and other organizations, along with his wife, missionary Deok-ju Lee, who majored in rural science.
Missionary Work
As a visiting professor at the University of San Carlos (USAC/CUNOR), Guatemala, he established a dairy animal diagnostic laboratory and conducted missionary work at the university and Mayan indigenous rural villages as a starting point for missionary work.
