TESTIMONY from Pastor Vicky
(Guatemala)

“How can we not be grateful to God? We are joyful when we see God's mercy in our area (northern Guatemala). I want to testify about four groups of people receiving the Word of God through the ministry of GMNET, and its partners, KCPC and HOMA.”
1. University Students
Every Sunday, we hold a weekly Bible discipleship session for university students. Currently, 10 students faithfully attend, along with occasional guests. Additionally, a team of four of us travels biweekly to the village of Nuevo Aquil to share the Word of God and His love through singing, Bible teaching, and prayer.
2. Public School Children
Around 150 children receive Bible lessons at their local public school through the faithful service of two dedicated teachers, Viandry and Vilma, and a caring helper, Carmen.
3. School Teachers
Eight teachers from the same school have shown deep interest in the Bible. They expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn truths they had never heard before. They are beginning to understand God's love for them and how precious they are to Him.
4. Poultry Project Women
We currently minister to 16 women in a poultry project. Most of them are non-literate. We teach them how much they matter to God, using special Bible lessons prepared every other week. We pray more women will join this group soon.
We praise God for what He is doing through His Word among students, teachers, children, and women in our region. May He continue to open hearts for His glory.

TESTIMONY from Professor Dulce
(Guatemala)

My name is Dulce Cac, and I am currently a professor at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. I have the privilege of working with GMNET to share the gospel and support initiatives that promote community development in my country, Guatemala, and in my city, Cobán
I was blessed to meet the missionaries Dr. Joseph Kim and his wife, Duck Joo Kim, in 2012 when I was a freshman in college. Through their mission work, I better understood my country’s realities and the urgent need for community development. But beyond this social awakening, I experienced a more profound personal transformation. I had once stopped believing in God, but through my experience with GMNET, I understood God’s love. It helped me reconnect with my faith and welcome God back into my life.
This new season of my life also sparked a strong desire to improve my communication and learning skills. I reopened my English textbooks and pursued knowledge with the goal of personal growth and actively supporting the mission’s work through translation. Meeting members of the Atlanta KCPC church and the GMNET team has been a constant source of encouragement. Their example has helped me understand the value of working for God’s Kingdom.
God has shown me that what once seemed impossible, such as becoming a university professor, is possible when He guides our steps. I have also had the opportunity to visit and learn about South Korea and the Saemaul Undong community development model, which I see as a powerful tool to promote the well-being of society. Now, as a professor, I continue to work alongside GMNET. It is a true blessing to serve my country with God’s guidance.
